J.Crew Factory Addie Owl Loafer

I love me some whimsy! Between my five (different) pairs of Marc Jacobs Mouse Flats I thought my shoe wardrobe needed an injection of some fresh cuteness. Enter the J.Crew Factory Addie Owl Loafer! I am pretty sure they are brand new to the site because they aren't sold out yet!

Original price is $118, and it's on sale today for $98 with an extra 30% with the code SWIM, so a decent $68 for a pair of lovely fall loafers. It's my second pair of loafers next to my Loeffler Randall Blaise studded suede loafers.

It's so cute on the J.Crew model below! Kinda has that oh look, she's wearing a pair of Alexander McQueen skull loafers, wait, no it's not, it's a cute owl!

Nektar DeStagni LadyBug Pearl Earrings

I'm obsessing over Nektar DeStagni's Ladybug Pearl Earrings. I love me a classy yet quirky and contemporary pair of studs for work and play. It's a freshwater pearl inlaid with black crystal pave. Love! This is the perfect combination of both and totally speaks to my love of polka dots.

H&M Printed Summer Dresses

I was feeling the need to inject a bit of color into my wardrobe, and ever since I lost a ton of baby weight and dropping several sizes alot of my dresses don't fit me anymore. It's been a nightmare trying to manage my wardrobe. 2 weeks ago we had a wedding to go to and I had my heart set wearing my red lace and navy blue sheath from Shoshanna. Well that didn't happen because the bust was too big on the dress - I looked ridiculous. Thankfully I found a one shoulder Maje floral dress that fit. But that was almost a disaster waiting to happen. I've been selling alot of items that I love but can no longer wear on Threadflip and that has been a godsend.

Unfortunately H&M only had the dresses one size too big, but I still got it anyway because they fit okay, and honestly for $49.95 per dress it can't be beat! I'm really loving the prints right now. Paired with a blazer, crossbody bag and sandals or flats it's easily transformable between work, play, or cocktails.

Summah Summah Summah Time!

Yep. I'm a true Bostonian! It's summah time. Here's what I'm crushing on on a random Tuesday:

Image

1.) Peaches. Whole Foods has them on sale this week and ending today - 2 lbs. for $3 from Pearson's Family Farm in Georgia! I've gone back twice to get a couple of pounds for my Georgia peach loving family. We love peaches. It just screams summer!

Kale Ceasar

2.) The kale caesar salad from Sweet Green. One just opened up in Boston not too recently and one of my co-workers just turned us on to it! Now I'm obsessed. For someone like me who generally dislikes kale, it's my favorite salad. For an extra kick, I ask them to add some arugula, my favorite salad green.

3.) Butter London nail polish. I'm crushing the Silly Billy (a true tangerine) polish in the Colour Clash collection. "A clown popular at fairs in Britain, and a fab nickname for anyone named William." It's the perfect orange for fingers OR toes. I usually go for a bright coral or fluorescent pink in the summer so I'm really liking the change up. It's my first Butter London polish and not my last - I usually go for Dior Vernis polishes because the formula and brush are awesome, along with some OPI and Essie to a lesser degree. Butter London has a new fan given that it's in the middle of the pricing point too.

4.) Mara Hoffman bikinis. I just go back to pre baby weight post baby a year ago and I'm still not feeling all that confident. My belly's a little softer and there's still this pesky problem of unsightly stretch marks. But Mara Hoffman's sample sale had such cute bikinis on sale that I decided to purchase some - it ended up causing me to get motivated. I love the tribal and aztec prints and the super saturated colors! I'm a big fan of the v-wire bikini. Maybe I'll be able to rock one for Vegas for my friend Ling's bachelorette. Maaaaaybe. We also are going on a group family trip to Atlantis at Paradise Island the week after though I somehow think that running around after a toddler in a bikini isn't a practical idea.

Piazza Maxidress

5) Madewell's Piazza Maxi Dress. Finally snagged this in the extra 40% off sale last week for $60. I got this in red and in white in size 0 after reading the reviews to size down. Figured this is the perfect lazy young mom dress while in the Caribbean.

Finally, a Stylish Work Tote

I've been searching for one since the beginning of time it seems, and I think I've finally found it - Australian Annabel Ingall's Isabella Large Tote. I'm debating between the Persian Blue or Saddle. Or maybe both? And do I get one that's large and the other small? Argh! Decisions, decisions.
